For I don't know what reason, I am now scanning old pictures. I created a folder to save them in. It's called "Ancient History." I may post some later, for a laugh.

Who wants to see what awful, awful hair I had in 1987? Really, it'll make you feel so much better about your huge bangs and all the hairspray you used.

Instead, I've been re-reading old entries from my full-time parenting days. A lot of feelings there, both happy and sad. It's certainly an understatement, but the only words I have are: I wish it had gone differently.

Also, I am making a mix of music that is inspired by all the boys I've loved before. Including, I suppose, the one I love now. For some reason, I feel very naughty doing this. Which may in fact be why I'm doing it. I dunno.

I spent my childhood in two-car garage which had been converted into a little house. It was on on a half-acre of land. My grandparents owned the property. My whatever-he-is finally got out of bed, so I made some "breakfast". Bacon and cheese omelettes. Turns out I had the perfect amount of cheese left over after grating some for last night's baked potatos, and was able to scrape by with the last four eggs. I also used up the bacon. Last time I was driving around in Oceanside I looked over at the City Hall, where I used to work as a security guard, and felt a strong surge of nostalgia.
